Happy Faces

Artisan Dressage is located in the foothills of the Cuyamaca Mountains in East San Diego County. Our dressage philosophy integrates harmonious understanding between the horse and rider while fostering the skills needed to excel in the competitive world.

We are a mother / daughter team offering lessons and training locally and will travel for clinics. Our small facility in El Cajon is usually full so we also train out of Hazy Meadow Sport Horse Center in Lakeside. Training influences are many but our close relationship with Debbie McDonald plays a prominent role in our philosophies and techniques. Obviously our big stories are Katie’s accomplishments at NAJYRC and also CDS S. Calif. Young Rider Championships held in August. She and Millenium “Milo” won the FEI Championships as well there too!! Elizabeth rides daily but has had to curtail competition for a while as we have focused on Katie’s quest to reach these goals.
